John captured his Dad on video answering these questions — a video that John and his family treasure and watch often. After John’s Dad sadly passed away two years later, John and his team decided to start a new business adventure: Life Innerviews, offering video biographies to individuals and couples to preserve their cherished family stories. Today, Life Innerviews is a business built by our families, for your family.

Our Story

Everyone at Life Innerviews has decades of experience helping people tell their stories, and has worked with individuals, families, and leading organizations throughout the United States.
Dan Myers
As the father of two children, Dan sees firsthand how videos will impact further generations, which is one reason why he loves helping people tell their stories. “Losing my mother several years ago makes me wish we had started this business earlier, so we could hear her today, and so I could show my kids what their grandmother was really like.”
Dan covers everything from filming and editing videos and to file management and digital imaging technology in his roles as an editor, retoucher, and videographer. Dan has been working in the advertising industry for the last 15 years, spending the last 10 at Myers Creative Imaging.
John Myers
Over the course of his decades-long career, John has worked for clients throughout the United States—and around the world. His work has earned national awards, and has been featured in some of the industry’s leading publications. His personal hobby of acting in community theater helps him understand how to help people give their best performance.
As a video director, one of John’s many strengths is making people feel comfortable. “I want them to just have a wonderful conversation and forget about the camera. It’s not about the facts, dates, and figures of their life — it’s about their experiences, passions, victories and defeats, and the lessons they want to pass down.”
Heather Roman
“I love getting to meet and work with new people all the time.” Whether she’s getting permission to land a helicopter at a New York State Park for a client project, or talking with a couple that wants to learn more about Life Innerviews, Heather is always in motion.
Heather is our producer, which means she works behind the scenes to organize the full video production, so everything goes as smoothly as possible for you and your family. She also loves interviewing people, and finding unique ways to help them tell their stories.
